Iniesta wary of City fight-back

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta says his side must not be complacent when they face Manchester City next week.

The Catalans won the first leg at the Etihad 2-0, giving them an advantage going into the second leg which will take place at the Camp Nou.

However, Iniesta says his side will prepare for a competitive encounter as believes there is enough time for their opponents to forge a comeback.

“In football nothing is finished until the game is over and we can afford to make any mistakes,” Iniesta told Barca’s official website.

“There are still 90 very hard minutes to play, we are facing a team with great players and if we don’t want to go out we will have to play a good game.”

Iniesta also spoke about club captain Carles Puyol, who recently announced that he will leave the club at the end of the season.

“It’s not nice news to hear he is leaving,” said Iniesta. “We must now try to make sure he goes out on a high and hopefully he can play.

“There is nobody who represents as much as he does.”
