According to reports in Italy Barcelona midfielder Alex Song could join Napoli on a sixth month loan deal in January.
Song has struggled for game time at the Catalan club since joining them from Arsenal in 2012.
The out of favour Cameroonian attracted interest from Manchester United in the summer but a move never materialised.
It is now reported by Sport Mediaset that Napoli lead the queue to sign the 26-year old in the upcoming transfer window.
Barcelona aren’t prepared to permanently part ways with Song as yet and will rather loan him out for the rest of the season before discussing his long-term future at the end of the campaign.
