Thohir set for Mazzarri transfer talks

The billionaire will be present at San Siro to
observe the club in which he has purchased a 70
per cent stake and then embark on a rebuilding
programme

Inter president Erick Thohir has revealed he will
discuss transfer plans with Walter Mazzarri after
watching his first match on Sunday.

Thohir, who now owns a 70 per cent stake in the
club, will be present at San Siro when the
Nerazzurri host Sampdoria in Serie A before
embarking upon a series of meetings with key
senior figures.

"Will I see Mazzarri? Possibly yes, at the Inter
offices. Yes, maybe some of the discussions will
be about that [transfer plans]," he told the club's
official website.

"I have some meetings from 2:00pm to 7:00pm
today, and I'll have dinner with (predecessor) Mr
Moratti and the family.

"Tomorrow I'll have more meetings but the most
important thing of all is Sunday: it's my first game.
And hopefully we'll have a good game.

Inter sit in fourth place in Serie A ahead of their
clash with Sinisa Mihajlovic's side, having accrued
26 points from their first 13 games.
