Enyimba are Super Cup champions

The Aba Millionaires won the season starting
trophy after a sweet revenge over their eternal
rivals from Kano in Warri on Thursday evening

The Peoples Elephant, Enyimba of Aba emerged as
the Super Cup champions for 2013 after they
defeated reigning league champions, Kano Pillars
2-0 at the Warri City Stadium, Warri on Thursday
evening.

Goals from Ifeanyi Edeh and Sibi Gwar handed the
trophy to the Aba Millionaires and it provided a
sweet revenge for the Felix Anyansi side over the
Sai Masugida after they lost the last season's
league shield to them.

Pillars will thus be leaving back to Kano with a
trophy-the league trophy they were presented
before the start of the Charity Cup match.

Charity Cup, Super Cup or the Champion of
Champions trophy is contested for by the winner
of the league and the champions of the Federation
Cup.

Heartland defeated same Pillars side 2-0 in Port
Harcourt last season.

The Naze Millionaires won
the 2011 edition also after a 1-0 win over
Dolphins.

The game in Warri was used to climax the 69th
Nigeria Football Federation's Annual General
Assembly which was held in the early hours of
Thursday.
