Fulham silence boos by Defeating Everton

Barcelona loanee Gerard Deulofeu threaded the ball through for Steven Naismith to put Everton ahead after 12 minutes. Fulham were booed off at half-time but Dimitar Berbatov equalised with a close-range effort and Darren Bent then guided in a Giorgos Karagounis free-kick in the 68th minute.
“It’s a big relief,” manager Martin Jol said. “It was a long time ago since our last win.”
Hull City reached the last 16 of the competition for the first time since 1978 after a 1-0 victory against League One Huddersfield.
German striker Nick Proschwitz scored with a half-volley from 12 yards to seal a victory that Hull manager Steve Bruce described as “like watching paint dry”.
Bristol City, without a win in League One, put up a spirited effort at Southampton after falling behind to a Gaston Ramirez first-half goal. City had chances to equalise before Jos Hooiveld made the game safe for the Premier League side by heading in an 83rd-minute corner.
