Enyimba awarded three points against Kano Pillars

Enyimba have been
awarded three points and
three goals in the case
against Kano Pillars after
their match in Kano was
abandoned with the home
team leading 1-0.
The Organisation and
Disciplinary Committee of
the Nigeria Football
Federation got enough
evidence that the home
team breached the security
rule in place for a match of
such magnitude.
This means the Aba Millionaires have now gone three
points clear at the top of the table with 58 points and
Bayelsa United still second on 55 points with four rounds of
matches to be played.
Pillars are fourth on 54 points behind third-placed El
Kanemi.
"The video replay brought by Kano Pillars showed that the
encroachment lasted for over 10 minutes and according to
the match commissioner’s report, AR2 Bosede Momoh from
Abuja was assaulted.
The referee said they returned to the pitch using their law
18 to save their lives and there was no time they asked
Enyimba to return to the pitch to continue the game, "a top
source informed Goal.
"The pieces of evidence were far reaching and the
punishment is very clear on the encroachment," a member
of the organising and disciplinary committee confirmed to
Goal

three goals for Sunshine Stars against 3SC.
Shooting Stars’ Gbolahan Salami was also banned for the
remaining four matches. He was also fined 100,000 Naira
for inciting fans at the abandoned Sunshine vs Shooting
Stars match in Akure.

Adeshina has also been banned from all football activities
for one year for instigating Shooting Stars walk-out in
Akure.

Oluyole Warriors’ video recording of the abandoned game
and they will also pay 50,000 Naira medical cost of treating
the 3SC cameraman.
